Tbh I’d go full strength with who’s available for this, 4 days between each game is enough and after losing last night i believe we need the feel good factor moral boosting win more than we need rest to take to Paris.

After @SRCJJ said he’s barely watched us in the league for a couple months, I went back and checked our results for March and April and realised how true that was for me too.

Don’t see this match being any different, I could barely be less interested in any of our remaining league fixtures. I’m not normally like this, but it just feels like a waste of time.

Such a sorry sight that bench. For a fucking CL semi final.

But our absentee list still is a joke:

  • Gabriel Magalhaes
  • Gabriel Jesus
  • Tomiyasu
  • Havertz
  • Calafiori
  • Jorginho

not watching this game. The team need to take a hard look at themselves.

They keep trying to get the crowd to make noise, but they’re delivering shit on the pitch, what do they expect from us.

Another draw.

Evanilson available.

no way that gets overturned if it was us lol.

Yeah and then add Thomas suspended.

Another ref mistake that cost a club and will go unpunished, or worse yet he’ll get the week off!

Just take the gamble and rotate heavily Mikel. Full focus on the semifinal please.

Yeah I just don’t believe another shit result in the league will do us much good heading to Paris.

Should take note of Palace. Went pretty much full-strength against us before their semi final. Played well, got a good result, went into the semi-final with good momentum and beat Villa comfortably.

Their players didn’t look tired at all.

Neither will another injury. Can see both ways and can’t decide which I prefer.

Momentum is good when you have a lot of it, not sure beating Bournemouth gives us much additional for next weds tbh. We do need to at least draw though for the PL positions.

Yeah I haven’t watched us regularly in the league since about November or so, pretty dreadful I know but felt like the writing was already on the wall after October.

Oh wow, November is pretty early haha.

Obvs in hindsight you’ve been proven right about the writing having been on the wall, but I was absolutely not ready to hear that in November. I really thought we were gonna see an upturn in our form and that there’d be a proper title challenge.

I’m sure back then I’d have poured scorn on anyone who said that Liverpool would have secured the title by now and have a 15 point lead over us.

The very faint fire went out for me finally against West Ham in February. I’ve still watched every game though unfortunately :joy:no matter how shit and uninteresting the last 2 months of the league season have been
