Course today of all days I have to go to the office so can’t even keep an eye on the exchange or spend the afternoon chanting about the king of Brazil for my neighbours :smiling_face_with_tear:

We’re the most in form team, sitting on top of the league, with no injuries, playing a struggling Bayern Munich, in front of a crowd with no away supporters.
What could possibly go wrong? :grinning:

This is completely different to all the underwhelming CL performances with Wenger.

We’ve got far better players that all have a winning mentality rather than the complacency of previous teams.

This should be a comfortable win and a clean sheet.

We must ensure to kill the tie in first leg. 2-0 or 3-0 would do.

I go from ā€˜we’re losing this’ to ā€˜there is no way we do not win’ every couple of minutes.

Can’t wait for this game!

Bayern get battered everywhere they go

One thing that just came to my mind recently (it does take some time :bellend: )…

I was always confident abuut this duel, actually wanted Bayern more than anyone, and still am confident. But only now I thought about the danger of our players getting too confident and too cocky and that could be the biggest chance for Bayern to get something out of this game.

Even if they are the worst managed team in the world, still, having guys like Kane, Sane, Musiala etc up front… If you play too reckless and give them much space (not even too much) they will punish you.

I’d absolutely hate it for us to be the team that gives some life into this shit season Bayern have atm.

There’s no doubt we are the better team atm and we should take the role of the favourites (at least at home), and we should be confident… But it wouldn’t be the first time a big team, currently in horrible form, gets brought to life when getting a bit too understimated and when you offer them those chances they didn’t gave most of the time playing against disciplined opponents.

We should dominate the game and push forward, I don’t want to see much respectball. But we should be on our top top level defensively and be super alert at the back.

Just hope we score enough so the pain of the inevitable Kane penalty won’t hurt as much.

If we come at them with our brilliant press, they will have nowhere to go. Our shape and decision making to get the ball back is elite.

I’m expecting to see lots of turnovers in their half, and opportunities to create big chances. They won’t just sit for 90 mins, they will want to be protagonists. That really suits our game.

If they decide to play on the counter, we could be in more trouble but I don’t foresee them being cowards like Ten Hag.

I’m confident that we’ll play well. We need to be clinical though as Bayern’s forwards are. Kane, Muller or Gnabry may only need one chance.

You just know 2017 Bayern Munich is turning up so we need to be at our best. COYG

We should do what City did last season and eased their reverse leg

I don’t think plaeyers will get cocky, Arteta yesterday said that they are always preparing for the best version of their rivals.

Not nervous at all. Probably because it’s only the first half. Nothing can be decided tonight, so nothing to be scared of.

Also, we don’t have Mustafi playing for us.

Something we must be forever thankful of :rambo:
