God that knot everyone feels in their stomachs while looking at that lineup really illustrates what Partey means to this team, not because Partey is so good - he is - but because our midfield options are so fucking raw or shit.
Investment in CM in January is so fucking necessary, today’s the exact type of game you can’t drop points because of an underpowered lineup if you want to be around the top 4 position come the final stages of the season.

Ridiculous that he missed two matches or something like that with Atleti over years but comes here and immediately has fitness issues.
Maybe it’s just bad luck, maybe it’s the difference in physicality across leagues, maybe it’s mismanagement but either way you slice it we have a problem. It needs correcting in January.
