Leeds def felt like a trap game. It’s a comedown after West Ham, people looking ahead to Spurs and maybe players were watching the Liverpool
match yesterday? None of that would be a good excuse for the performance but maybe explain why the guys switched off after the first half. They thought the match was over.
And I’m a little skeptical of people saying that it’s proof of a long-standing mentality issue. This team is totally different bar Lacazette, Xhaka and Elneny from some of those other teams.

Wow job done I guess… but 2 gifts (Meslier and Ayling madness) and we only take this 2-1… sheesh.
I guess the 3 points is all that matters… just need to take 7 points from the last 3 at minimum and we are 4th guaranteed and maybe 3rd.
We’re getting better, keep the progress going and we can get there, like Liverpool did.
