Arsenal v Brighton (PL)

Xhaka way too far up (Why?) Gabriel couldn’t make his mind up (again).

Sigh.

How the fuck can one loss after such a convincing run of form manage to completely derail and demoralise our team???

Still can’t believe we weren’t able to add to the squad in Jan. So thin. We were awful in Jan when missing key players. When we have a fully fit starting XI we can hang with the best, but we are shockingly bad when we have to replace them. We have 13 players abs the extra 2 are GK and CAM/winger.

Really was a false mentality we tricked ourselves into. Still a bunch of bottlers when it matters.

Are we watching the same game?

It’s a tactical error of the coach

I want to shit on Xhaka but he can’t operate in 2/3 of the pitch

We’re losing at home to a team that has scored 1 goal in their last 7 games :man_facepalming:t3:

Agreed, he’s slow as fuck. Why is he operating like he can bomb up and down the pitch?

Also Lokonga is fucking SHIT.

Surely you’re not surprised by that. That’s the sorta shit we are known for.

So Sambi is the new whipping boy. Good to know.

I think we’ll win, but my same old questions about charisma and inspiration when it comes to team talks remains. That said, I’m not going to go mental on Arteta, I can’t visualise a replacement for him this summer no matter what happens from here.

Lokonga struggles to link with the defence well. ESR and moreso Odegaard are having a terrible game.

Lacks the nous for the position lol, he basically got sucked into a offensive potential counter.

There was a bit of luck involved tbf

Brave, I like your optimism. 1 Goal in 3 games doesn’t offer me much confidence though.

He’s a very weak link in general

This is why Saka at LB is the better sacrifice. Put Xhaka back in mf.

Fuck sake Saka gets fouled so much

We can’t play Saka LB. You see Martinelli and Lacazette out there?

Fair shout honestly.

Someone suggest LWB as a compromise with 3ATB
