Itās a bit like pushing the boat out for Ben White last summer. Not so obvious, many in here would disagree, but this is what I want.
I dunno the White Ramsdale stuff was right out of Pepās cookbook where you start from the foundations.
Iām not saying we donāt absolutely need a CM I just think if I had to choose one going into next season itās hands down a Laca, Nketiah upgrade.
Note that I never made it a binary thing. Going for Declan Rice does not mean we donāt get the CF in the same window.
I agree, striker should be the #1 priority and surely it is considering both recognised options could be out the door in the summer, Xhaka remains hugely upgradeable but that glaring weakness up top canāt be ignored any longer.
The tactical tweak of playing Xhaka a bit higher up whilst have Partey the deepest has made him less of a liablity, would love to see us sort out both positions but yeah it has to be striker 1st for me

Striker first then CM but realistically we need:
Striker
CM
CB (likely Saliba)
Versatile forward (maybe to replace Pepe)
We need 15-16 field players the manager is comfortable mixing and matching without having to change tactics too much and right now weāve got 11-12.

From what I have read, there is no plan for him to play at Arsenal, thereās some weird arrangement where heās going to be loaned out elsewhere in Europe (which I guess is easier once he is technically in the Arsenal organization) and the whole thing is about building more established relationships between Arsenal and the Kroenkeās MLS club. I donāt really understand it but everybody seems confident heāll never actually wear an Arsenal shirt.
