He looked like a monster prospect before hurting his knee - big guy but very athletic and decent enough technique. People were talking about him as a potential 40-50m transfer (this was pre-covid).

I think he’d be a decent punt on a free as long as the wages aren’t crazy.

Him going to Juventus is a foregone conclusion.

Fiorentina are gagging at the bit to accept a €40m bid spread over 10 years with an option to loan instead if he doesn’t score 20 goals a season in the first two seasons.

Oh and Fiorentina will be covering most of his salary, because Juventus.

Doesn’t make sense, but it’s what happens. Chiesa is currently on a 2 year loan spell from Fiorentina to Juve, with a conditional obligation to buy at the end of it.

Trying to save face after he rejected us? Tbf, I don’t buy that story about his agent ignoring our calls. Di Marzio didn’t mention this in any of his articles. He simply stated that they’re holding out for better offers next summer.
