Martinelli looks to be out until Dec/Jan. Balogun looking to leave, and even if he stays, he lacks experience as a 3rd option until Martinelli is fit. That’s a big worry.
I actually rate Martinelli higher than Nketiah.

That would be underwhelming. He seems like a decent squad player but not somebody who will elevate us and he is also 26 so only likely to decline in value over the length of his next contract.
He actually looks like the French Maddison/Grealisch or even the player Wilshere should of become. He has tons of energy and pace to carry the ball past 2-3 players up the pitch, good close control, his end product from midfield has been constantly good for several seasons and he puts a defensive shift in winning the ball

I admit that I’ve never really watched (or at least noticed) him, just looking at his statistical profile. Most of the stuff you’re mentioning wouldn’t necessarily show up there so I defer to your judgement that he may have other important qualities. If we could get him on the cheap I could be convinced but I’ve seen prices of 35-40m euro quoted and that seems way too much for a 26-year-old with his profile.
