Arsenal transfers 25/26

I think he’s saying that L’Equipe reported that we offered that, but that he finds it hard to believe that we did.

I think he’s unnecessarily and incorrectly added “allegedly” there. Unless he really isn’t sure that they reported that, so he’s saying allegedly, but that doesn’t make sense as it’s easily verifiable what L’Equipe said.

Guy clearly failed GCSE maths. £44m plus £130m does not equal £79m

What is the point in reporting these shit sources? To rile people up? You’re like OA’s Z.

@BigWeng_4LYFE this is Nexus or Dean or whoever the mentally deranged individual who pretends to be ITK is. He’s just rambling, or who knows what.

Best ignored. But hard to do that when people who should know better bring it to your attention I guess.

That Gazidis tweet was a step too far :bellcry: :gabriel:

Don’t even joke about a horrific event like that

I’d take Gazidis back just to see Elect would handle it.

Gazidis comes back and spends our entire transfer budget on Thomas Müller on a 5 year deal at £300k/w.

More likely, Gazidis signs up all out U-21 players on £50k per week contracts, runs out of ink and can’t sign the pile of first team contract extensions in his in-tray.

Here you go!

Can’t afford him and even if we could… He’ll go to a top club surely

Well, we do have some stuff going for us:

  • Lyon are broke
  • Most top non-PL clubs are not in a position to invest heavily
  • Arsenal is one of the few clubs looking for an #8/#10, Spurs and City might go on the market for a midfielder but it’s not their priority
  • He surely has his eyes on making it to the French NT before the Euro so he’ll need a club that starts him weekly

We did get Tierney and Pepe under the noses of everyone last summer. Gotta be opportunistic here.

Arseblog reporting that Arsenal will sign a left-footed central defender is close to signing.

Tierney, luckily for us, flew a bit under the radar. Surely that is not going to be the case with Aouar? Getting Pepe wasn’t much a an achieved with the stories of the past few days? We paid what nobody else was prepared too and didn’t think he was worth…

Gabriel Magalhaes is left footed and we’ve had a bid accepted according to reports. Napoli could still get him

Guys like Le Grove, Gunnerblog, Arseblog, Tim Stillman, Darren don’t know nothing about transfers.

That’s a double negative there. Do they know nothing or not?

Arseblog is apparently close to some sources.

Le10 Sport were reporting that Lille have now received offers from Napoli and Arsenal, with Gabriel due to make a decision tomorrow…
