Well Kola isn’t very good. Saka needs to/wants to play further forward. And Tierney can’t stay fit for long enough to be useful. So yeah, let’s do it.
Though, we do obviously have more pressing issues which I’d rather we spend our money on.

Aside from it being a terrible source that signing would make very little sense since Saka is promising and Tierney cost us a good deal of money, both are young too.
If he was a RB sure but LB is one of the few areas we’re sorted in.

You see Saka as a left back permanently, then?
I think Saka has excellent attacking qualities for a full back. Not sure he’ll have the same or better impact as an actual forward.

Not necessarily but I think there’s a decent chance that will be his position, not entirely sure he’s suited to be a wide player for a top club but time will tell and he has plenty of it.

Buying Tagliafico and using Saka on the wing is the cheap solution for the lack of (left) winger though. For the short term.

Cheap is usually the preferred option for us but we definitely need a quality winger.
The problem is, with the defence lacking quality as well as Aubameyang possibly leaving, will we have enough money to strengthen all those positions properly or will Arteta prioritise just the defence?
Top quality wingers aren’t cheap so, like you say, using Saka on the wing might not be ideal, but realistically might be our only option unless he feels that neglecting our defence for yet another season is the right choice.
What ever happens, this is going to be a pretty lacklustre transfer window.
We don’t know how our defense is going to look next season to be honest. With the coaching of Arteta, new players Saliba and Mari (very doubtful of him but still), Tierney who has barely played a game.
This is a BS rumour anyway. Ajax has the policy now of not cheaping out anymore.

Could have seen us go for Kurzawa and sell Kola(who we also got on a free).

I agree, but Ozil isn’t going anywhere this summer which means we are stuck with his wages. Coutinho wouldn’t come cheap - loan fee plus wages - and I’m not sure we will want other big earners on the books this summer, unless we are able to have a massive clear out first.
Not adverse, but think our priority remains defence and holding midfielder this summer. If we have money left after strengthening in this areas with the right players, would love a top attacking midfielder. If we loan and have to sign option to buy though it may be better to opt for a younger player, pay a bigger transfer fee with lower wages…Kai Havertz anyone? Could be a similar situation to Zaha and Pepe last summer.
Nothing is going to happen as far as defensive players go this summer! I’d say competition for Ozil is #1 priority.
If we were to sign him, it’s as if we are signing St. Etienne players Fofana now.
