Arsenal transfers 25/26

In the fact he’s a box striker, you’re correct but we need to get better at creating as a team anyway. If we do get Fraser and Tierney comes back, that should give our wing development a big boost.

Like I say if we can get Edouard instead I’d prefer that but we are in the scary position of looking at losing our 2 strikers for free in a year

I’d take him on a one year plus team option contract. It might be his last best chance to prove himself at a high level before he shifts into parody.

Gersonally I’m not opposed to bringing him in but that’s just my gersonal opinion.

Is his dad Paul Merson?

This article sums up my opinion well, I really don’t think there’s too much you can disagree with.
If the worst think we have to deal with is his wife I’m sure that doesn’t overshadow his potential benefit to the team…

Really don’t want to entertain a swap deal and not with the circus that follows this particular player around. I remain of the view we keep Auba, refuse to sell in the summer and try to rebuild the team around him.

Can’t see there being enough meaningful football around next season to be investing in players.
I’d now actually sell Auba for decent money and sit tight till we resume.

Football will resume…and it would be madness to sell Auba

What guarantee you got on this then.

Would love to know this aswell.

The PL teams are meeting tomorrow to thrash a deal out…they only need 14/20 to vote for the proposals. Bottom 6 will likely vote against, but the rest of the teams will want to miminise the damage by securing the TV money from this season.

That’s immaterial though as of now football can’t be sanctioned.

Don’t forget nothing happens without PFA approval either

There was nothing from the Government statement today which means that football cannot resume…

You for real here.

So to clarify, I’m not saying whether I agree with it or not, but it’s clear from what the Government have said that they want a gradual relaxation of lockdown measures over the next two months. Last week they were actively supportive of attempts to get the PL back up and running…what do you say has changed?

Some clubs actively against playing. Some players against it. PFA weary about it and club doctors far from United in endorsing it.
