Arsenal transfers 25/26

An interesting profile for us for sure.

Not that young though. I mean, not old but doesn’t seem to have much room for improvement age wise.

Apparently just got a Brazil call up recently.

Which Gabriel?

It’s are after him apparently and I would hate for us to miss out on him especially to them

£80m isn’t much when you are talking about a top talent like Anderson. He would be a perfect signing for us. The more I look at him, the more I think he is a younger version of Rice. I still like Tonali, but I think Anderson may edge it for me now. Plus, there is a reason why several other top clubs are after him.

Having 3 quality midfield options of Zubi, Rice, and Anderson would mean we could properly rotate throughout the season, without a drop off in performance.

I’d just rather a more technical player than Anderson. Also, Anderson, like I’ve said about Tonali, has options at teams where he probably starts. He doesn’t start here.

Think he’d be a great sale for Forest. He’s done really well but very replaceable. I don’t know how Newcastle replace Tonali.

With an Anderson homecoming maybe? He’s a Geordie after all.

Genuinely think that’s the most logical move for all parties!

I genuinely can’t believe you’re so down on Anderson, yet so high on Tonali.

I don’t think the gap is particularly big, and if I were to give an edge to one currently, it’d be Anderson.

I think the drop off from Rice and Zubi to Anderson is big. I think Tonali is as good or better than Zubi. Anderson is a good player but I can’t believe the hype he’s getting. I watch about 15 Forest games a season and will tell you Sangare and Gibbs White will be the reason Forest stay up - not Anderson. He’s a very good player but low impact.

Woah, hang on, 15 games a season?
Brother, I thought you were some 40-50 games a season Forest follower.
I even have you beat then.

Haha! I mean I go to about 15 games a season - mainly City Ground and the odd away game. Forest fans love Anderson to be fair.

What’s even the point of having a scout if you won’t sign the potential players they recommend…

Ben Jacobs has come out and said that Anderson’s £100m transfer fee is well off the mark and if he leaves in the summer, it will be for significantly less. He almost implied that there was a release clause like Morgan Gibbs-White. He also compared it to Tyler Dibling reported fee and what he eventually was sold for. Makes me want Anderson even more now!

You’ve given up on Tonali?

I’d be happy with either, but edging towards Anderson now, particularly if he was available for less, and is the younger player too.

Anderson cost 35. I doubt very much there would have been a clause in his contract unless it was a Newcastle buy back. Forest were chucking around numbers of 80-100m last summer. Gibbs White was agreed for 70m.

Anderson is nowhere near what Rice was at West Ham. I’ll stop because it’s probably coming across that I don’t rate him, I do. It’s just surprising to see him so popular on here. Wharton or Tonali is more what we need, I reckon.
