Let’s see if he gets his own thread by the end of the week.

Eze plus another back-up for Saka is fine.

Noni for me…I am hoping these links are just Berta putting out links in the press.

Eze plus a Rodrygo or Barcola or Williams is what we need…plus Sesko obviously!

Think the approach here is to sign the striker(Sesko?) and Eze and then perhaps stay a bit more reactive on market opportunities for the extra forward.

I think that’s where you start looking at less proven players like Fofana, Adeyemi, Nusa, Paixao, etc.

Also, Arteta has sold several PL quality GK’s that were either here or he bought.

But the fact that Jesus is his only first team attacking signing is astonishing.

How many long serving managers at a top European club would do that?

Extremely stupid prioritisation and something I am sure cost us in a meaningful way.

And 4 out of 7 had names beginning with R

Robert Sanchez incoming?

I don’t care about the keepers but that’s a sad list of forwards. Gets even worse when you think Havertz was supposed to replace Xhaka originally.

While, in the meantime we made some decent money on selling the forwards… Nketiah, Balogun, ESR…

:santi:

If Leipzig are being pricks about Sesko, imagine how much they’ll ask for this guy.

Ornstein talked about Arsenal on an Athletic podcast today (mainly focused on Chelsea) and basically said that while Arsenal are looking to strengthen in three positions -CF, winger, inside attacking midfielder - the type of winger we go after will be dependent on departures, with mroe expensive options like Rodrygo and Gordon being dependent on Martinelli leaving.

Not allowed to criticise though apparently

Have you been stopped from criticising or something

For someone that doesn’t seem attainable, Gordon’s name sure as hell features a lot in these, especially with Ornstein.

Listening to the podcast now, Ornstein does make it sound like Madueke is a very appealing target.

This is exactly what I expected.
If we want to spend big on LW,we need to sell Martinelli, the one we can fetch some serious money.
