Didnāt these dudes say that Leipzig have finally lowered their demands? So now we choose tne time to focus elsewhere?
Weāre going for Sesko. Ben Jacobs was saying he thought our preference was Sesko but keeping options open. If Leipzig have lowered their demands to 70m Euros as reported, I expect we will move quickly to sign him.
This is true to be fair, I remember seeing him early in the season and he was really struggling without Eze.
Iāve been a long knocker of a potential Eze deal. I always thought that if you want Eze you might as well have stuck with Emile.
However, I saw him a couple times in that that run of games in the end this season and Iād lie if I said I wasnāt moved a bit. Thatās the best form Iāve ever seen him in.
He was simply sensational in the games Iāve seen, not only just for his quality but he really came off as a leader.
That FA Cup final performance was top. Best outfield player on the pitch by a mile.

Other than Gyokeres, who would you suggest? Genuinely curious.
Not a good finisher is my understanding of his game and people are going to be really frustrated if we sign someone else who isnāt an elite finisher.
Sesko is apparently an elite finisher so Iām thinking it makes sense to chase the guy who offers us something that nobody else in the team does.

Iām all in on Gyok as the A1 target, I regard other names as acceptable secondary targets:
Ekitike
Alvarez
Watkins
Sesko
I wouldnāt complain if we got any of above in addition to a top LW which I feel is more important. Iāve critiqued Havertz but when healthy heās shown he can be productive at CF.

I agree, Gyokeres, as well as a LW who can walk into the first team and make an impact straight away, like Eze, would be a great window.
