Arsenal transfers 25/26

I’ve been saying what a bang average defender he is. I remember some people on here hyping him up during the last Euros and I couldn’t understand it he looked out of his depth.

He might not be top tier but he didn’t look out of his depth in the Euros one bit.

two words to describe him.

Nothing special, or BANG AVERAGE

Just another Joleon Lescott…

Nothing to write home about.

Honestly thought his performances were massively overrated. Couldn’t believe it when pundits were purring over him and giving him high ratings for every game. Then to see him be subject of mega money bids was always crazy to me.

Seen a couple of rumours online linking us with a move for Kenan Yıldız at Juventus. I don’t know much about the player - any good?

Guehi is an okay player. Not average or elite. Jagielka level in the present.

Massive talent from what I’ve seen but also young and still developing. I think juve would need a huge fee to consider selling, they don’t have that much right now to give their supporters belief in the future. A bona fide homegrown potential superstar is hard to give up.

After what Man City and Liverpool have pulled off already this summer there is nothing we can do now short of maybe Isak, Rodrygo, Zubimendi and a top class creative midfielder I can’t think of right now to compete with their window. So basically we cannot top what they’ve done this summer even in the context of what we needed going into it.

Doesn’t mean we can’t compete with them for the title but the strengthening they have done to their squads already is scary.

He’s found his level, which is not at a top PL club.

This is a trademark Gala/Fener signing

Just to make sure I’m understanding correctly, ar you suggesting that we would have to sign all of Isak, Rodrygo, Zubimendi and another top class creative midfielder to outdo their respective windows?

a different way of phrasing it would be - we need more individuals to give us enough ammunition to compete with trophy winning rivals who have further strengthened themselves.

Liverpool is now (24/25 Liverpool - Trent) + Frimpong + Wirtz

City is now (24/25 City - De Bruyne - Scott Carlson) + Reijnders + Cherki + Aït-Nouri

Atm, We are 24/25 Arsenal - Partey - Jorginho + Nelson

Zubimendi is good start but he is just filling in a spot which is vacated.
There is no good report about Arsenal filling biggest hole in the squad (left wing).
Sesko/Gyokeres are both risk of varying level to achieve necessary bit of success

Why are you including players that Liverpool and City haven’t actually signed yet but not doing the same for Arsenal? Zubimendi should be on your list if you’re including Cherki for City and Wirtz for Liverpool.

And Partey hasn’t gone anywhere.

I was still editing.

Thank fuck, the Arsenal link was agent gibberish

Isak alone beats their windows as is.
Isak, Rodrygo, Zubimendi and another top class creative midfielder would be FIFA career mode stuff.

Wirtz is the only deal to be genuinely jealous over and it will most likely go down as the biggest deal of the summer, but that’s because Isak isn’t moving this summer.

I would rather Sesko over Isak.

Isak is not worth the fee Newcastle want

Wirtz, Reijnders and Cherki are excellent signings… Wirtz being the best attacking & creative midfielder going in the window. Frimpong, Kerkez, Ait Nouri are very good additions as well.
