Arsenal transfers 25/26

We nearly spent over £70m on Michael from Donetsk.

That chart will look different by the end of August, so it’s not worth worrying about.

Did the club fuck-up in the last two transfer windows providing Arteta with a lack of cover up front? Yes. Will they make that right this summer with a new man in charge? We shall see, the early signs are good, we’re already tying-up signings.

I don’t think people are worrying about it, just recognising that it highlights just how little we’ve invested in that area of the pitch.

Think that safely rules that one out for us

Doesn’t Todd Boehly own Strasbourg? Or his consortium does? They can’t keep getting away with this

Edit: nvm I can’t read

interesting

I’ll have to see him play a little more but I could see this being a positive transfer from someone

I had a dream that we signed Michael from Brighton. He was deemed part of “Hurzeler’s plan”, but for whatever reason, it didn’t work out.

Is this guy any good?

Michael who

Just Michael. I don’t know if he’s Brazilian or something.

Good enough for me, let’s give him a chance !

  1. Elite finisher. I reckon this warrants a new thread.

Funny thing is I could very well see a random Brazilian player named ‘Michael’ popping up outta nowhere and becoming hot property.

Because they conveniently spent 230m the summer before this data cutoff and as JB said they got mbappe on a free.

120m on hazard
45m on Rodrygo
65m on jovic

Just missed off this list.

Why did I think he was one of the 5000 wingers they signed, he looks strong in the tackle but also scored 10 goals from central midfield.

Chelsea just trying to play the PSR game but if we could benefit then why not

We are starting to get linked to every forward out there.

The proper transfer window is finally starting. :ramsdale:
Love it.

This is going to be exhausting reading all this crap

If Man City didn’t want him, then why would we?
Alvarez is a decent player and because he’s versatile, certainly the sort of player Arteta goes for but we need game changers, not more of what we already have like Havertz, Jesus and Trossard.
