Arsenal transfers 25/26

Mbeumo makes no sense at all as he’s a RW and we’ve got that position well covered between Saka and Nwaneri.

Can absolutely see us signing Sesko instead of Gyokeres

I’ve got a sneaky feeling it’ll be Sesko.

Gyokeres seems like a player who creates chances with his excellent ball carrying technique, but Sesko feels more like the barnstorming agent of chaos who will have a shot without needing to control the ball. I think we’ve got plenty of the former, none of the second.

I’m veering towards Sesko.

Wouldn’t it be sensational if Gyokeres goes United and flops and Sesko comes to Arsenal and has a good season lol

Would be equally sensational if either of them come here and smash it but would just find it funny given United fans think he wants them more than us.

There’s a good chance anyone who goes to United would flop. I’m not sure I’d judge them for it

I’d be the first person to hold my hands up and say you know what fair play I got it wrong lol

Sesko’s undervalued? His valuation is £80m is it not?

I think we’ve all been a bit misled on the Gyokeres interest.

Whether that was intentional or not, I dunno. Could be how Berta operates, using the media to his advantage. Ornstein has walked the initial reporting a bit back and made it very clear that Gyokeres is simply now an option, whereas he wasn’t before. He’s reiterated a few times recently that he’s not saying that’s the one Arsenal will pursuit.

Clearly a lot of work has gone into Sesko, similar to Zubimendi. Edu and our scouting department have been credited for it.
Let’s not forget, we were ready to sign him last June before he decided to stay another year at Leipzig.

I think this idea that Berta should just force his hand doesn’t make sense to me. It serves him nor us any good to do that.
We’re not talking about a pun on some 18 year old that’s gonna cost peanuts in the grand scheme of things.
We’re talking about big moves here that involve massive fees and wages, and with that come repercussions if things don’t pan out as expected.

Best thing Berta can do is simply explore the market, find options for the areas we want to strengthen, explore the conditions of those deals, present them back to the decision makers who can then collectively make a decision on who to go with.

Just sign who I want instead of these bullshit players like merino Zubi and sesko. It’s really annoying at this point just give me the job now.

Gyokeres
Wirtz
Hato
Garcia

We could be done before June is over.

Trossard, Marquinhos and Jesus only right?

Havertz now but he doesn’t meet that criteria.

Lol at Chelsea signing 21 attackers for 800m and still be looking for a striker and LW this summer.

That’s a lot of wasted money.

It’s comical and also sad, especially when you look at the ones we did sign by and large not of the level required.

We should have at least one forward signed by the start of July.

If not, things aren’t going well.

Is it criminal that we’re 60th? Maybe the waste of money by the teams above us in this league but finished much lower than us in the EPL is criminal.

I don’t see Real Madrid in that top 19 either.

We didn’t sign Mbappe on a free transfer though

Yeah, I’d say the lack of investment in our front line is fairly criminal seeing as we don’t have a single player with more than 10 league goals and can often look a bit toothless in attack.

The spending done by teams like Chelsea, to name the most extreme example, can be crimi al at the same time, just in the opposite way.
