Arsenal transfers 25/26

probably not wrong. his contract is expiring mind you. Bayern may well decide to cash in on his contract come Jan. And he hasn’t started a single game this season outside of a DFB Pokal match

Another guy that is washed

I’m good

As always, it’s a no to a man with a full back tattoo of himself scoring a goal.

Guess I’m in the ‘Yes please,’ minority.

Haven’t watched him this season, but he was a menace last season.

Perhaps I’ve missed out on him tearing farmers apart in Farmersliga but he was never a menace in Europe, both in the CL and especially the Euros.

He absolutely ruined us in the Champions League. Brilliant in the 2-2 against Madrid as well.

You mean he ruined Kiwior.
Zinchenko had no problem handling him when he came on which should tell you a lot and neither did White whenever Sane went on his side.
He missed a massive chance to kill us off at 2-1.

Against Madrid he was decent in the first leg but I wouldn’t say brilliant. Musiala and Kane were the standouts from what I remember and in the second leg he was invisible.

He was better than any of our wingers over the two legs and shredded Madrid.

I’m struggling with your point. I barely watch any Bundesliga.

My point - looked good when I’ve seen him.

And my point is that he’s been more shit than good when I’ve seen him.

I honestly think he was one of Germany’s worst performers in the Euros.

How many minutes did Zinchenko face him for? This was a Sane returning from injury I believe as well.

Why are you asking me? You’ve gone through the trouble of finding that, you can find that about Zinchenko too.
Zinchenko didn’t worry about Sane once and Sane also wasted their chance to score a third and kill us off from the first leg.

Again, purely off the CL and the Euros, I didn’t see a menace in Sane but moreso an extremely frustrating player. He would not be one of the players I want us signing.

Think I had this discussion last season but he didn’t he go absolutely months without a single goal contribution then racked up loads over a short spell?

Steer very clear of him and Gnabry.

Well it wouldn’t shock me because Sane and Gnabry are like a quarterly topic in OA.

Gnabry looks washed up. Wouldn’t go anywhere near him. I think Sane has plenty left, but I haven’t watched him this season.

I’d be for it if for example he came in to replace Trossard/Jesus and we went huge on a striker (Isak or Gyokeres).

The only problem I have with Sane is that he is better from the right and we have a greater need on the left.

My preference would be to sign an young understudy striker and a young understudy winger personally.
The latter is conditional on Martinelli recapturing his old form of course.
But that’s next summer talk.

Sterling, jesus, zinchenko… but Sane is the answer? 100% chance this transfer would be a waste of money and time.

It’s clear that Martinelli doesn’t come under the safe and undisputed starter category going forward no matter how he performs this season. There are obvious signs of a slow down in development and inconsistency. No point going for an understudy there at all. It’s a crucial area for a big recruitment.

Doesn’t mean Martinelli wouldn’t wind up still winning out the competition though but can’t bank on that.

Can we please have some proper investment in attack please

I fear there is no higher level than what Martinelli is showing & has shown.

We can’t afford to have any further seasons hinging on Martinelli & Trossard for left-wing. We should make us more complete.
A young understudy won’t cut it for left wing.

If we need an upgrade of Kai/Jesus. definitely we need an upgrade for our LW.
