Arsenal transfers 25/26

I believe this was already shared here around that time?
Anyway, since then both Fabrizio and Ornstein have confirmed that Gyosekias(lol) is in the shortlist.

Today we got this:

Take FrankyMoofia off the available ITK names list.

Eddie Howe to England after he gets sacked and then Southgate fucks up the Euros makes a lot of sense.

Would prefer Potter if we’re talking failures. Both better choices than Southgate

Typical England move. He’s probably better than Southgate though.

If we could get an incredible wide player or cm, I’d accept Jesus, Trossard and Havertz being our CF options. Ideally I’d want a striker though.

Imagine we could get a FDJ, Musiala, Leao etc. Our level would go up to the point that we are not reliant on a cf.

I love Musiala, but he is not quite a team player (yet)

One phonecall with magic Mikel and he would fully buy in.

Gonna need 3 players for sure.

Ramsdale replacement
Partey replacement
CF/wide player, ideally to start and push Jesus to a rotation option

Ideally get another defender in but Kiwior’s form might have ended that for the summer.

Didn’t we hear about this the other day? That we now have a transfer budget for the youth team?

This was always my approach on FM.

Load up the Genie Scout and sign all the elite talents.

If we continue to spread goals like we have for 1.5 seasons now, I don’t see Striker being that critical.
I would say long-term Partey replacement is more critical.
Let this guy be groomed by Partey & Jorginho before he owns the spot.

Great, I’m not the only one. I tend to just put a minus next to their bank balance.
It works even better with Man City and Chelsea. I prefer to have title run-ins with proper big clubs.

Special player. I maintain he has potential to be a top, top striker. Ambipedality doesn’t come often. Players that can use both their feet so well have elite ball striking potential. See Trossard, Cazorla and Pedro.
He’s 6ft tall and he’s very strong too.

For me he would be the priority forward signing this summer. I wouldn’t even bother signing a striker. Use Nelson and Nketiah to fund the move.

Release clause is fairly low too. Going to be a lot of interest in this guy.
