Arsenal transfers 25/26

Agreed, in hindsight it could change but going off the transfers alone so far it is definitely the most ambitious window I’ve witnessed as an Arsenal fan.

The investment we’ve made is unprecedented for me. We’ve completely shattered our transfer record and have made the second most expensive signing in PL history. On top of that we signed Chelsea’s best forward (let’s ignore the context around why that was🤣) and one of Germany’s best players in Havertz. Furthermore, we signed the biggest starlet to come out of the Ajax academies since FdJ and MdL.

As things stand we’re the biggest spenders of this window and have surpassed City in having the most valuable squad in world football.

Something would have to go really wrong for it go bad, and I hope haven’t jinxed it now.

Hmm… indeed.

Don’t even want to think this can happen.

My nun has better sources than Steve.

Spend the money on a true 9 please, if we are going to get an attacker.

How many wide players we have already?

Pepe plus 60m let’s get it done!

I agree, we haven’t had many windows better than this.

Not only did we break our transfer record for Rice, it was for a position where we needed top quality. We’ve also strengthened significantly with Timber and Havertz but most importantly, we didn’t sell any of our best players to do it.

Are you sure? Don’t you remember this stunning window?

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia might need his own thread if the rumours continue to intensify. Looks like a cracking signing and would complete the most complete of transfer windows.

Payments in instalments are the norm in Italy so the eyewatering figures quoted for him can probably be overcome.

Who’s leaving then? Eddie and Balogun?

Eddie out kvara in would be insane

You can tell Arteta was deeply hurt after losing the PL title last season. He’s not messing about, full surgery happening with this squad this summer and I love it.

It’d be the kind of ruthless move we all wanted Arsene to pull at times but he never did.

I don’t see it, city were not so long being touted as a possible destination for him at €100m. I don’t see us signing another guy for that much money in the same window.

It could be as little as £30m up front, £70m over the next 4 years. It’ll take us close to the edge of the comfort zone, but maybe KSE are out to topple the Saudis. CEOs can be very competitive.

We did go after MUDPRICK for big money but surely Kvara is not happening this summer.

Can he play on the right as well?

Lw: Martinelli, Kvara, Trossard
RW: Saka, Kvara, Jesus, ESR
CF: Jesus, Trossard, Havertz

Kvara could definitely take Mar9s spot though.

Backup Odegaard too maybe

Didn’t know he could play there. Only familiar with him tearing up Serie A and Liverpool last season.

don’t see us going for this guy tbh, I reckon we’ll be going for a backup right winger instead and this guy is way to good to be that

Less than a month left for the following to be moved on:

  1. Runarsson
  2. Cedric
  3. Tavares
  4. Lokonga
  5. Pepe

And then there’s the ones that could go(a subset of these have to go as the squad is simply to big):

  1. Hein
  2. Okonkwo
  3. Turner
  4. Tierney
  5. Holding
  6. Elneny(depends on if he recovers in time)
  7. Patino
  8. Balogun
  9. Nketiah
  10. Marquinhos
