Arsenal transfers 25/26

Seems Simons is a concrete target to replace Granit

We need a mediapunta trequartista with the correct ankle / ballbag ratio to maximise the xGDP of the franchise. I worry we won’t penetrate the goal hole with enough frequency.

Yeah that’s it. VI is pretty reliable I would say.

Personally I’m always worried about signing Eredivisie players, even when they are doing really well which I think Simons has done.

GET SIMONS DONE

Well if we get rice to start and supplement that with simons what’s so bad?

Almost as bad as the old fans wistfully longing for the days of unwatchable football, leg breaking tackles and open bigotry in the stands.

You approve?

Obviously the first part of my post would wash completely over you.
Cruyff just another boomer and well Rinus Michels would beyond your understanding.

What does big Dobbo say?

Born in 1947? I guess barely a boomer.

You might want to carry on reading his Wikipedia page now you opened it.
He played in America too. Fill you boots.

Are you sure that is set in stone?

Bayern Munich might enter the race for Xhaka, which means we should be able to get a better price for him than the ÂŁ13m mentioned earlier.

How about ÂŁ30m plus Xhaka for Gnabry?

Oh I know all about it that. Before my time unfortunately. There’s definitely a good documentary to be made about the demise of club soccer in the USA all the way to a functional (albeit closed) league with the MLS.

Gnabry was great a few years back but don’t hear too much hype about him now. Even then, you would still have to value him at around £30m at a minimum. That would be a fantastic deal our end for Xhaka, lol.

Wasn’t the NY cosmos like a retirement home for all these stars, offering a little more money to get the biggest names for a bit?

Pele, Cruyff, and did Maradona play for them too?

Before my time like you though.

Pele did. Cruyff was at the Aztecs and went somewhere else.
It was wound up before Diego had finished. US actually has a decent world cup record for a nation that doesn’t have football/soccer as it’s number one sport.

Yeah, and the Cosmos were later revived as part of an independent league and then again as basically a fashion brand.
