Whilst the chart is categorically true we undoubtedly had the worst squad (save for Newcastle) and it required completely rebuilding. If you look in 3 years time it probably wonāt be us.

Lets remember we blew top 4 last season. Arteta has to be challenging himself and put that expectation on himself this season.

I donāt believe he should be kept in the job if he canāt get us into the top 4 after 3.5 years and likely 300m+ of investment from the club. That would be unforgivable.

Wouldnāt sack him per se but you definitely need to have a job review at that point and there must be some good reasons why he failed.

I donāt think Calum is saying heād be happy with 5th. Itās all about the context. If we play good football and see improvement in areas, but just miss out by virtue of there being too many strong teams then perhaps itās alright to keep Arteta. If we have a collapse like this year then he should go.
