Not only is he paid a fortune at Barcelona but apparently heās due some loyalty bonuses too. And Iāve also read that him and his partner love living in Barcelona too and arenāt enthused about the prospect of life in Manchester.
This is the kind of deal that has disaster written all over it because itās effectively someone being forced to leave a situation heās happy in for the benefit of an everyone but him.

Barcelona is his boyhood club AND both him and his girlfriends favorite city. He will he devastated to leave, especially for Manchester.
Maybe Espanyol have a better chance.

Iād love the saga to drag on and just end up with him refusing to leave. I doubt heās going to rot in the reserves.

I think heās been a massive disappointment at Barcelona but itās similar to the Pogba situation at United - if you have a player and you donāt play to his strengths you simply donāt extract the most from him
The Frenkie at Ajax and Netherlands is an entirely different prospect to the Barcelona one. If United get him, despite enjoying rinsing him, I think itāll be a huge deal for them and transformative given his role at the club is the position they most need to fill

Not from I have seen or read. Basically failed to deliver at Anderlecht trying to use a diluted version of Pepās system whilst asking people to trust the youth project.
