On a serious note, Nelson, Mustafi and Willock make sense. Maitland-Niles not so much unless we have someone else coming in.

Hopefully this summer Nicklas. 
Why? We hardly use the guy. There have been a couple of matches where he hasnât even made the squad. A youth player can fill the sit on the bench and get the odd 2 minutes ever other week role.
Not saying we donât need any reinforcement, but we have no need to keep hold of a player we have no use for.

Honestly the myth just gets bigger and bigger around him each week.
Nobody even knows really what his best position is.

Arteta didnât have an issue hooking Bellerin and putting Ainsley in to strengthen our defence not too long ago. Itâs all well and good now that weâre playing lower sides but Maitland-Niles will be involved against better opposition, especially in EL.
We get a good result at home, who do you think Artetaâs gonna use to defend that in the second leg?

We have 2 right backs now though with Cedric. AMN is 3rd choice in that role otherwise you donât buy Cedric.

Cedric is the best offensively, Maitland-Niles is the best defensively.
There is no pecking order. Just a choice depending on the occasion.

The club could make some serious funds out of Nelson, Eddie and Willock. Definitely interesting to see if they pull the trigger.
All several seasons too late.
He also doesnât appear to have an actual position to play in this team. I canât tell you what heâs good at other than a vague notion of âlate runs into the boxâ which is definitely not good enough to play here.
