The only deal that makes sense to me for Laca to go to Juventus is if we somehow incorporate Bentancur into the swap deal. He is hit and miss at Juventus but I don’t think Sarri suits him. I’d love him here.
Bentancur, Torreira, Ceballos and Partey would be the best options we’ve had in midfield for a very long time.
I get the sense Betancur is now finding his feet there. But since our midfield needs an overhaul that would be one of the players to look at.
He’ll probably end up at Red Sarr Belgrade

Benrahma would be better. He’s a great talent. It’s not even close as to who comes out of that kind of deal better off. It certainly isn’t the team giving a 32 year old a 3 year deal on big wages.

I’d take either at this stage but I have a preference for Benrahma because I think he’s more ready made for the step up. Anytime I watch Brentford, I love what I see.
We’re clearly short of quality in a few positions so an experienced CB like Upamecano, a wide player like Willian and a CM or DM like Partey would be decent.
I’d take Willian just for his experience, if we can’t afford a younger top quality wide player, as long as we sort out the CB and CM positions as well with top level players.
if we buy a CB like Upamecano and CM like Partey as well, both who we’ve been linked with, that would be good business.
It wouldn’t be too expensive either, we could get money for a couple of our surplus CB’s like Mustafi, Holding, Luiz, Sokratis, Chambers etc,
We could also sell one of Guendouzi or Xhaka to get Partey and Arteta might even consider selling Lacazette, if a club offers more than 30m, although that seems unlikely.
We have plenty of quantity but the lack of top quality is clear in most positions.
So keeping Aubameyang and getting maybe Willian, Upamecano and Partey, while getting a few under performers off the wage bill, would be an ideal window, if not spectacular.
