By rights next season really is meant to be our year ladies and gentlemen.
Since wining our first league title we’ve never gone more than 18 years without winning it, 1953 to 1971 then 1971 to 1989… you know what that means ? 2004 to 2022.
What a 30th I’d have then lol. Seeing you win the league in May

Kinda makes for disgraceful reading, that.
Everyone is accountable. The players, the manager(s), the f’ckin board.
To think we can count on one hand just how many times we’ve fought for the title since 2004, it’s just…bleurgh.
The excuses have been aplenty. “Oh, Chelsea have more money than us.” “Oh, our players have been tapped up.” “The refs are against us”. Yadda yadda.
No fight, no heart, no title.
Same trophy as 89. So yeah.
That last stat is shocking.

It’s nice some of our records from that 2002-2004 period still remain to this day.
It’s a shame that some of the embarrassing records we’ve broken this season will last even longer.
