Anyway, glad we got this match in our preseason aside the bad refereeing and unnecessarily bad challenges from the Chelsea players. 
It was good test for the team and a good opportunity for Mikel to try some stuff out and learn. I think we created many dangerous situations up front. We were definitely a bit of shit show at the back though with the high line and the shakey build-up. Most of the chances Chelsea got we essentially gave them.
Ideally there’s no preseason game midweek, let them rest. Final test against Spurs. Hopefully a nice performance ahead of the Brentford game and a reason for us to laugh at Tottenham.

Yeah I just can’t do it anymore, I wanted a midfield pivot of Partey / new dynamic signing and instead it’s gonna be Xhaka/ Elneny for the first month of the season. Not sure I can be fucked getting up in the middle of the night yet again to watch ourselves fumble our way to 5 points from the first 5 games.

I saw that line-up against Hibernian and knew we’re in trouble when I saw about 6 dead-wood start that game. Very few out-goings and if any they all seem to be loans. Just not enough getting done. Not even close to.

Nobody at the top 4 clubs is remotely worried about Arsenal challenging them this season with the business done.
Fact is West Ham and Leicester and Leeds will all be looking to challenge us for another season.
