Yeah, I was worried it might seem petty, or like a dig at someone else, but I was gonna add that to my post. I would feel like a knob walking round with someone like Saka on my shirt when I’m over ten years his senior lol
It’s never stopped you before, so by all means have a dig, I don’t give a fuck. Each to their own and all.
Couldn’t care less what the age of the player is. Not like I’m trying to have a relationship with them
Heard James O’Brien on the radio the other day proposing £500 fines for adults caught wearing football shirts with the name of players younger than them on the back.
Well they do say that hallucinations are a common side effect of taking certain drugs or as a result of long-term drug use, so guessing you just imagined that.
I don’t get it. Everyone at the club, players and everyone else, is younger than me, so this O’Brien can go and do one. Anyway, the last shirt I got was bought for me by my daughter and she got my own name on the back of it.
See, that’s my problem. When I get a player name on my shirt, I am trying to have a relationship with them.
0/37 attempts so far.
Gonna have to get both home and away this season they’re just too good.
Away feels like it’s gonna be another shirt that reminds us primarily of saka, expecting him to bang this season and he always rocks the dark kits. Don’t know if I’ll get a name on the back but I am due an Odegaard one.
Home one I think I’ll leave blank.
This away kit (navy blue) is giving me very good feels. I can see us winning something big in it, it’s so nice that I’ve ordered the shirt.
Got a bit giddy in the airport and bought the blue away kit.
Was supposed to be just checking the size
The away and 3rd kit is pure sublime.
Haven’t bought an Arsenal kit in about 20 years. Might have to dip in this time.
Talking point for anyone that you see moaning about “Arsenal should never play in white”….
Looking back at our history it’s the most common away kit we’ve had…
1st - White away for 59 seasons
2nd - Yellow/Navy for 43 seasons
3rd - Blue for 33 seasons.
Anyway, it’s clearly very popular as the Arsenal Direct website has been down for the last hour.
Nice, but they need to ditch the shitty front and sleeve sponsors before I buy any current football shirt.
Fair enough, I suffer cognitive dissonance with it. Rwanda are doing a genocide on their neighbours and I’d never visit an Arab country while they treat women like second-class citizens. I honestly don’t know why I still wear our kits with those sponsors on, let alone spend serious money on them.
As sponsors go I like Emirates tbh. Its a very clean sponsor
