Albert Sambi-Lokonga

That’s really not impressive in the slightest.

I remember Cardiff used to sing this chant about Michael fucking Chopra, and I just did some googling and found a youtube video from 2007 with people using that same song to wind up Southend fans about their impending relegation.

So yeah, well done Palace, you took a fairly well established football chant that is at least 15 years old and recognised that the name Lokonga has three syllables, and therefore fits the chant.

What a fanbase.

Of course, my point was that they shouldn’t be getting special praise on twitter for coming up with this chant, not that they’re in the wrong for adopting an established chant, or somehow unique in doing so.

Hopefully paddy can turn him into a half decent player. I think it’s in there but the attitude needs to be right from ASL.

Basically pull a willock for 6 months so we can sell you for 30m.

Obviously best case scenario is that Lokonga has a ground breaking footballing revelation and becomes a force to be reckoned with under Vieira, but I’d be super down with this quoted scenario as well haha

It would be nice to see him have a successful loan stint there and it sounds like he will be utilised accordingly.

Getting a good fee out of Palace will be decent for our summer plans.

I never rated Lokonga but he’s better than Will Hughes.

I think he can show his best stuff playing regularly in the 8 spot

Btw, now that he’s gone(at least temporarily), he was really stitched up in that doc.

It was clear that scene where he “complained” about not playing was lighthearted and so was Eddie’s response. They were laughing about it.

I feel bad for Eddie as well because he has to address it in almost every interview since.

Even recently he was asked about it:

(Yes, Geoff mistook him for Tavares :man_facepalming:)

This is absolutely the correct take.

That’s if Hughes is indeed the useless blonde cunt. I can’t recall, having not seen a lot of Palace.

Has he gotten any minutes so far?

They’ve played three times since he got there. He came on as a sub twice, and started the last game.

Just had an impressive 2nd half vs Liverpool tbh

A good foundation to build on. It’ll be interesting to see where he is at the end of the season after a good run of games.

I’ve seen some Palace fans saying he had a great game and how he’s been very good for them since he joined.

I’m not surprised. His biggest issue is the lack of confidence and also his bad attitude in the last year.

Hopefully Vieira helps Sambi to get back on his legs.

Good for him. He’s never coming back here though.

Yup, I don’t see him coming back.
