I’d like to see him get a run of games as a starter, defensively better than Bellerin and knows how to take a throw in.
His attacking game is pretty flawed, but not like Bellerin is TAA going forward.

I wouldn’t be bothered by this full stop but honestly I think it’s time of give AMN a few minutes at CM, I don’t think he’ll ever be a fullback we need. If he wants to play in the middle give him a chance surely he can do a better job than Elneny or Xhaka and if he can’t just move him on next window.

I mean I wish, I don’t really have anything against the kid, he’s a little too aloof for my liking at times but that has its charms too like when he takes penalties. I just don’t see a lot of talent coming to the forefront with him. He’s starting to creep out of the youth category too and he really needs to be playing consistent football for his own sake.
I think the Wolves deal would have been great for him and solid for us, if I was him I’d be annoyed it fell though. Could be balling with Podence and Adama Traore rather than sitting on the bench here regardless of the fact we’ve probably got our worst midfield and and fullback choices in decades.

AMN is a very good player with a very high ceiling and I am fully convinced we have a very good player on our hands.
With the right coaching, I completely believe in his talents.
You cannot develop the calm head he has on his shoulders. He’s very good with the ball at his feet.
Let’s piss away his talents in favour of proven failures who keep getting game time week after week.

Yep. He’s a baller who has been mismanaged. I agree with @SRCJJ guy has a super high ceiling. Should be first choice over Bellerin all day every day

I want to see him in the centre of the park I think he has the physical and technical qualities to excel there.
I can’t see what Xhaka and Elneny give us that AMN isn’t worth giving a shot to.

So he didn’t play well? 5 interceptions and 2 tackles. Lead the team in both categories and was our motm from the match reports.
