He is our only option atm. Jenkinson is League one level at best.

TBH Jenks has done really well pre season he even caught Marcelos attention a bit, there arent many that can keep him in check and he did quite well. I actually would prefer Jenks at RB than AMN truth be told. But saying that it is not an ideal situation to be in at the start if the season. But at the same time to expect every single position to be upgraded this summer is folhardy. Bellerin will hopefully be fit soon he has already started training.
He had a pretty damn good game. He is sure on the ball can dribble out of danger, and put in some very dangerous crosses to Auba.
Watching that og again a few times and he shouldn’t have put the pass back to Leno on goal, but I think Leno was more of the issue there. Dood was in no man’s land and way out of position, for a team who likes to play out of the back and depends on the GK to be part of that, rushing off his line to be so close to our defender was a bad move.

Isn’t it the keepers responsibility to organize and communicate with the back line? If he’s gonna come off his line to claim the ball he needs to shout to AMN that he’s going to claim the ball. If he did so and AMN ignored him, fair enough. However even if that was his plan it’s basically a 50-50 ball with the Barca player and Leno. Only option for AMN really woulda been just to clear it out for a corner at that point since Leno made the wrong judgement call to come off his line.
I’d say he shouted alright but the Nou Camp is loud I guess.

Theses things happen luckily it wasn’t an important match .
Both to blame i think. Leno came rushing out prematurely and Ainsley wasn’t paying attention. Seen this sort of OG happen loads.
