I like Robbie. Too bad his job demands him to be surrounded by dickheads.

People will look at him differently if he was surrounded by rational fans

That’s an oxymoron.

This was funny.

I think AFTV gets unfair criticism. This is probably rooted in the fact that AFTV seemed to raise it’s profile as a platform during the lowest ebb of the Wenger years. Why? Because rival fans love to see us or United in the mud.

If you ask most football fans how they feel after a game, you will get an emotional response. Now fil this and ask somebody who has paid in excess of £100 and possibly travelled all over the country how the feel - expect extreme emotions.

I watched a number of AFTV produced content during the first lock down and was surprised how well produced and balanced a lot of it was.

AFTV was a poisonous platform that pushed the same personalities that it knew would deliver YouTube views. It was never about giving the fans a voice it was always just a way for it’s creators to exploit the fan base emotions and make as much money as they could doing so.

So glad it’s no longer relevant and not as widely shared.

Robbie’s a decent bloke but he definitely saw an opportunity and milked it to the fullest.

I’m not sure how well they’re doing now, presume still a core base of viewers but no doubt the hype of AFTV has died down massively over the last 18 months.

Fans are generally much happier and connected with the club again, no need for the toxic BS after the game even if we have a bad day.

I don’t think they’re as bad as they were before. Really enjoyed their pre-season coverage and I watch the occasional analysis. Their post-match interviews are pretty dull so usually skip them

Not exactly an exclusive when Dein has been giving interviews to anyone who asks

Like it or don’t like it - AFTV are very relevant and have a huge fanbase. David Dein is a huge coup for them and it was a very insightful interview.

Looking forward to the TH14 and Wenger interviews.

My point still stands. Unless I’m misunderstanding what the word exclusive means

It’s almost like he’s got a tell all book just come out that’s he desperate to promote lol

@Truth_hurts what did you make of Robbie’s suggestion that Dein should have a statue ? Agreed Wenger should definitely have one (in the pipeline i believe) !?

Dein is a big part of the story, but I wouldn’t place him in the statue deserving category.

Semantics really. I doubt he’s (Dein) has been on any other fan channels giving this amount of access and transparency.
