I always put him with players like Anthony Knockaert, Tom Cairney and Adel Taarabt in the vortex between the Championship and PL.
I think Taarabt had enough talent but he was lazy and had attitudinal problems. He didn’t work hard enough to be successful and he was a huge waste of talent.
I think anyone that is a resounding success in the Championship should at least be able to transfer 50% of that form to the PL. Taarabt didn’t even do close to that lol
I always wonder what would have happened if a big club had picked him up, I wonder if he could have been a Berbatov type where someone might have been able to extract his talents and martial his laziness.
