@arsenescoatmaker I was looking at his polling particularly in the swing states, which has him doing better than where he was this time against Hilary.
The Polls have tighten in several key states, his steady lead early has reduced.
I suspect the evidence from internal democratic polling and focus groups has shown to be negative to an extent. Otherwise you wouldn’t have a coordinated response like below months after unrest had started

I’ve been following the state polling and I haven’t seen 1 poll where . Trump has even been polling down in both Georgia and Texas, both considered safe red. This is the latest and they’ve closed up somewhat.

It could be focus groups, but it’s just as likely to be countering Trump’s message that Biden is somehow behind the Antifa movement, which is obviously a nonsense.

To be honest, do we even need a debate at this point? I think myth of the “swing” voter needs to fuck off the way of the dodo. At this point everyone who will actually vote already knows who they’re voting for.
Do you not feel this year, of all years, the swing vote could be ever so crucial?
I’m just speculating here, mate (I’m not over there, of course). I just feel that with the BLM movement and the potential of a 2nd coronavirus wave to hit before the election day, the way Trump deals with these two issues could make up a number of minds.
Yeah Trump doesn’t really debate as much as he just makes ppl look bad. Like with Hillary I mean all he did was dog her out about her Emails and she couldn’t say anything lol she just sat up there with her shit eating grin. I don’t feel bad for any of these politicians because they are all so corrupt they deserve to be dragged through the mud tbh.

There is no such thing as a swing vote. It’s a myth bandied about by pundits so they have something to pontificate about. It’s fabricated drama.
About 60% of people who can vote actually do vote. And that 60% know exactly who they’re voting for.

I think ur right about that ppl aren’t gonna be swayed to vote one way or another the real issue is ppl actually showing up to vote and I think a good showing at a debate gives the opportunity to energize ur voting base.
I guess I’m just a jaded GenXer. These fucking people get exactly what they deserve. It’s just too bad they have to take the rest of us down with them. How anyone who isn’t at least millionaire votes republican is beyond me. Yes, the dems are politicians, answer to big money, and are corrupt. But at least they pay lip service to the middle class and poor.
The republicans have convinced poor people that trickle down economics actually works. That the government is “EVEEEEEL!!!” and have finally been honest about Christianity… mainly that selfishness, bigotry, and isolationism are Christian ideals… Oh, and that white men should control everything with the occasional token black man. But no women.
And Democrats have divided the working class and made them hate eachother, demonising white working class people, they’re white supremists or nazis because they simply disagree with something, everything’s about race/area/gender not your talent or who you are as a person. They’re about telling poor people that the other side hates them whilst also telling them they want millions of unskilled immigrants coming into theyre communities and if you are against it then you’re called a racist by a middle class person completely uneffected by it
Both sides are cunts, politicians have made it so everyone is so fucking angry at eachother and differing opinions. Theyre using this anger to divide everyone to a staggering degree now.

I work with small business owners and the republican economic policies help them and their business much more than the democrats. They are so much happier with Trump than with Obama, who’s policies they felt were out to destroy their business and the middle class altogether.
As far as the Christianity thing goes, we are never gonna agree on that. I mean, I dislike organized religion a lot we all know their m.o. but I was raised by a mother and father who actually believe in the Bible and follow it’s advice very closely. They raised me to be honest ect and they never steered me wrong, everything I have I owe to them and their upbringing. If you are an actual follower of the Bible, Christianity is in no way anything like you described. Of course you really have to follow and listen to what the Bible tells you as opposed to using it as a tool to control ppl, which as I said organized religion is known to do. However there are a lot of good ppl out there who practice what that book actually teaches.
