2018 FIFA World Cup

We will see, they’ve got in very easily more than once.

Or Russians. Or Argentines. Or anyone of the 27. :giroud:

It was a headbutt! It doesn’t matter if Henderson made a meal of it – in fact, like with Neymar yesterday, if he hadn’t have made a meal of it then a red card may well have been shown.

Get Alli off

hahahaahahahahahahhahaha

Dele Ali shouldn’t have started anyway.

Nothing he’s done warrants him being thrust in at not 100%

How much trouble got Colombia in? The header of Kane and further?

Alli injured.

yep, if only those players weren’t trying to con the ref, it would have been a red.

But it doesn’t matter, England are easily winning this. I can’t see an outcome at all that doesn’t have England winning this game.

Meh, he was just saying hello to him.. Henderson can still choose to be a man and get him back later instead of going full Neymar.

That shit really cheapens the game.

Think some are being overly dismissive of Colombia.

England haven’t done much.

this game is just a formality on the way to england winning the world cup

Columbia’s backline is better than England’s. But without James, England has the better attack and thus, will win the game.

Mmm not the most entertaining half. Think there will be some openings for us in the second half though

England needs to press more. Southgate should see that Columbia doesn’t have anything in attack and can press forward to get the goal.

If England score in the first 15 minutes, game over. Longer it goes on, the better for Columbia (obviously).

RE the sun front page:

In response to this message, Nestor Osorio Londono, Colombian ambassador to the United Kingdom, has said The Sun’s message is “rather sad.”

Speaking with The Guardian, he said: “It’s rather sad that they use such a festive and friendly environment as the World Cup to target a country and continue to stigmatise it with a completely unrelated issue. Respect, fair play and joy for the game is all that matters tonight. We’ll be cheering for Colombia and hoping we can all enjoy a great match.”

The paper argued that their headline was “suitably light-hearted considering the context.”
