2016/17 FA Cup

Wrexham were 4th division at the time. Thats League 2 for some of you.
Weve played Yeovil away twice in 1971, 1993 who were non league at the time.
Went on to win the cup both times as well. Maybe a lucky omen.
Went to Yeovil in 93 and we won easily but coming a year after Wrexham I was bricking it till we got the lead.
Honestly theres a bit of me now gets nervous at the confidence of everyone right now.
Obviously it should be straight forward but . . .

Pre Season 2013/14 ^ Arsenal just tweeted about it as Maitland-Niles played in the match

I think the poster on here with the best chance of going is probably the SLAG! If he’s the guy from around Sutton and can call in a favour from his neighbour’s cousin’s hairdresser. More chance than many fully paid up members of the ATS will have anyway, hah

no te preocupes mi amor, por esta razón estoy segura llevar vaqueros :eyes: ademas, las mujeres se ven un poco raro subiendo arboles

My draw got 2 right although wrong way round… Sutton must be gutted not getting us away…

Problem with that is there are loads of Arsenal round here… Expect to see Arsenal all over the ground. Sutton on the ball…

away dressing room!
[/quote]Jesus, that changing room looks like a time warp back to the 70s with all that brown on the walls :arteta:

If lucky enough to get a brief…

Directions

By Car
Travel along the M25 to junction 8. Then north on the A217 for about 15-20 minutes. Ignoring signs for Sutton itself, stay on the A217 to the traffic lights by the Gander Inn (on the left), turn right into Gander Green Lane. The Borough Sports Ground is about 200 yards up this road on the left hand side, if you reach West Sutton station you have gone too far.

By Rail
West Sutton railway Station is adjacent to the ground. It is served by Thameslink trains via Wimbledon or Sutton. Come out of West Sutton station and turn right into Gander Green Lane and the ground is about 100 yards further along.

By Bus
The 413 hoppa service runs past the ground down Gander Green lane. The bus will stop on request anywhere in Gander Green Lane. The bus leaves Sutton Town centre from outside the main post office. The 80 route from Hackbridge to Belmont runs down Collingwood Road. The ground can be reached by taking the path through Collingwood Rec. Buses cost ļæ½1.20 for adults and 40p for children. All children under 11 travel free.

Parking
On matchdays for the 2016-17 season the club car park is for car park ticket holders only. Parking is available in local side streets (please park considerately) and in town centre car parks a 5-10 minute walk away from the ground.

Dressing room is so compact, also there’s no mirror for Bellerin, Xhaka and Giroud.

None of those will be there hopefully. Let’s just play the players who don’t matter. Like Ox

Harsh to say that after Southampton performance

Yeah, I was only joking.

I wouldn’t even risk AMN tbh.

I’m really quite disappointed with this draw tbh. I’ve really enjoyed watching them and have since decided to support them in the cup outside of Arsenal. Feels like a shame I’ll have to stop that now and hope they get pummelled.

Going to their ground is going to be an entirely new experience for many of our players. Maybe we should start Cohen at left back so our team contains some experience at that kind of level

Maybe we should start you at left back! We’d probably still win.

But no, I am much the same as you. At first I was well excited for Sutton. Did you see them celebrating like they had won the champions league when they drew us? And then after the manager said that half the team are Arsenal fans I was even more excited. But then once it had all calmed down I realised that I supported the team who are obviously going to knock them out :grimacing:

Match report from game, couple of current players played a part in this game…

I don’t think this game will be the mauling that some are expecting. Sutton will huff and puff and we will play a reserve side but ultimately win 2-0.

Thank god you’re here to bring us all down to earth eh
