Chambers, Holding, Bellerin, Iwobi all young players that will be in fucking limbo as long as he remains manger.
The vast majority of anything positive they’ve done is down to going out and playing their natural game and you can’t do that for long at the top level without the requisite coaching to help you develop. Holding would be better suited out on loan away from the shit show that is our coaching set up.
Most of them are the same players they were when we signed them, it’s beyond pathetic.

What is with this nonsense binary thinking? It’s not the players or the manager. The manager’s role is clearly, clearly relevant in the performance of the players. (Or else how do you explain teams composed of the same players performing vastly better under one manager than another, as has happened countless times in the history of football-- can’t believe I’m even deigning to state the bloody fucking obvious here but oh well)

I expected the team to prepare physically and mentally before each game.
Amateur coaches to that, professional coaches do that, everybody does that.
Yes, we knew we were up 3-0 after first game, and we knew the visitors would come out and gave their everything to turn things around… how did our team respond to that?
It was much worse than “shocking”, “unprepared”.
How many times our team started their game like this?? Countless in the past few years.
Just by this point, Wenger is not good for this job anymore. Don’t even need to evaluate the young players’ growth under him, our record against Big 6, our CL pathetic record such and such.

Hopefully Gazidis has the balls this time to cut ties. A stupid decision to even think of offering Wenger a contract but that’s done now. Clear regression this season, the team don’t look serious at any level, in either competition, detrimental to the development of young players. The list is endless.
We’ve been playing the record for some time now and it’s finished. We’re left with the turntable still turned on and the needle scratching the aimlessly in the middle.

We have seen some embarrassing results in recent seasons, like Man U 8-2, Chelsea 6-0, a few against spurs, throwing away a four goal lead against Newcastle, but last least they were PL clubs.
This is a new low.
Allowing a Swedish village team of part timers, to go two goals up in as many minutes and having almost the whole game to turn it round but failing miserably, is stunning, even by Wenger’s standards.
Anyone blaming the players and defending Wenger, I would remind them that it doesn’t happen so often to other managers of top clubs and Wenger used to take all the compliments when he was successful so when things aren’t going well, he should take the criticism.
There isn’t a single player from the Östersund team that would get anywhere near our squad, so there is simply no excuse for what happened at the Emirates.
The only person from their club who could get in ours, is their manager.
It was just arrogance, a lack of organisation, lack of motivation, and complacency, from us.
All hallmarks of a Wenger team.
