Arsène Wenger

That’s brilliant.
Things must be bad for Smith to post something like that.

That picture does sum up the way Wenger has run the club in recent seasons.

Ineffective, lacking fire power, neglected, stagnant and going nowhere.
Now a legend like Smith has posted this, we can also be described as a laughing stock.

I really don’t think he will sign a new contract.

lots of people on this board also agreed he’d win the league in this current contract, oh well another 25 million quid for Wenger and another wasted 3 years for the fans.

Lol! We all know he is signing.

Wenger is trying everything to “save” the team and himself but is still failing.

  • Is the back 3 a good tactic to perform in the league? After two decades he decides to change tactic and play with three defenders despite we haven’t the right players.

  • Is the “AS Monaco model” (former Arsenal model: young and cheap players, nice football style) the way to reach the success? He talks to improve our scouting.

Sincerly our big weakness is mentally. I don’t know if there is a lack of comunication between the players and the manager, if Arsène is no longer capable to trasmit his sensations, passion and idea to the players or if they are totally not interested to listen him and play without any fucking problem.

Remembering the past, and watching the current players, despite our economy situation is improved and we returned to buy a different status of players (impossible in the past to think about a Barça, Real or Chelsea player at London Colney), we haven’t improved and the only thing which is started is the regression.

In the past our football style was fucking keen to be football porn. Nobody in this current squad could be find a place on the pitch with players like Hleb, van Persie, Adebayor, Cesc Fabregas, Nasri, Gallas, Song and Rosicky. (only Alexis, maybe, but he is miles away to be a team-player).

We can’t remember the Invincibles era to remember a good team capable to win. We had good squads even after them. The injuries and the financial problems stopped the chance of many good squads, probably with some weaknesses like this current team but with with a fighting spirit much different.

Now, these players, aren’t not interested about nothing. This is why I’m starting to hate some players like Ramsey, Bellerìn, Walcott, Giroud, Oxlade etc…

This is why our fucking poor mentality is ruining the status of a giant player like Petr Cech.

I’m tired to see this.

Nothing will change because Arsène has just signed a new contract until 2019 despite we will not reach the 4th place and Chelsea will smash us at Wembley (yes, I’m sure about to watch a massacre at the end of May. Our players are fucking useless, imagine without a CL place when the league will end).

I stupid to think that, but I dream to see again the Arsenal at top level with Arsène Wenger in charge, because I love him, he loves Arsenal, but realistically the good times are gone and the only good thing which could happen is a massive change from the board to the manager & players.

Arsecast made a brilliant point of why the fuck did he drop Holding and move Monreal after that performance against City?!

For fucking Gibbs?! The guy who hasn’t started two games in a row for two years?! Why?! Wenger clearly thinks he isn’t good enough otherwise he would be playing him. So why the fuck start him at LWB.

Actually never want to see or hear from Wenger again he’s fucking clueless.

I am not sure how many of our players really played the 3-4-3 (or 3-4-2-1 or whatever) formation in regular basis before, especially the defenders and CM/DM.

Arsene was recently interviewed on NBCSN after a match and he basically said that the generation of players now is completely different than the invincibles era. Arsene is not a rah rah type manager up on the sideline yelling and screaming directions. He’s more of a teach a man to fish type guy. It’s clear that this generation of player is more concerned with their hair cut and their follower count on social media than football. Sure they play football but they are more into being celebrities than being at the top of the mountain. I think Arsene is past the point where he relates with these guys. The invinicbles were a more professional bunch that Wenger could mentor and point in the right direction and they would police themselves. Nowadays when you are basically managing mellenials you need a Conte, Klopp, Pep type. Someone that is going to micro-manage these guys and tell them exactly what to do and when. The whole philosophy thing just doesn’t work anymore.

I wasn’t talking about the shouts from the sideline, but about the relationship into dressing room, during the training sessions etc…

Mentality comes from the manager, it’s been evident for years now that the so called mentality of the club mirrors Wenger’s exactly.

So many players have come and gone and yet it doesn’t change even in the slightest, no one to blame there except Wenger.

Football is a funny old game. Everything can happen during a final. Think our players will be up for it, while we have given up in the league.

Wenger his betraying all those fans who believed, trusted and supported him. Cu*t.

I cannot see how he can continue for another 2 years as our manager. After all that has happened this season with the fans fighting, the banners, the protests, the pundits and legends wanting him gone, can you imagine the atmosphere around the club the next year, around the same time, after we have fucked it up yet again? If this season witnessed unprecedented events, next season, the knives might literally be out.

If he does continue, it could be the last mistake the board makes. I think the club could risk suffering massive loses in viewership and new sponsorship deals due to this. Just look at how many of us here have stopped following the club as keenly as before cause we all know there is nothing worth watching or playing for. Really, cannot believe how bad the situation is, and what’s worse, there doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel.

Add to the fact that ex players all come out saying the same things, gotta be some truth to it…stuff like, he doesnt analyse the opposition, the training is very basic arent allowed to tackle too much in case of injuries things are passive and boring and done 100 times before and that wenger is like a father figure instead of a fucking manager etc.

Neville really needs to fuck off with his cast iron defence of Wenger.

I wonder if Gareth would apply the same logic to Manchester United, should his beloved YANAAAATAD finish 5th, win the League Cup, but not win the Europa League.

Of course he wouldn’t.

Allowed a blip? Sure. However, this is the year Wenger said he’d deliver the Premier League to Arsenal again. The Wenger Era is over, just probably not officially for 2 years.

All Neville wants is for Wenger to drag us down even further.

How can he defend a manager who has built this team himself, and had the same players to work with for so long, and yet be overtaken by every other top manager, even though most of them have only just taken over at the clubs they are at?

All he is doing, is the same as what most spurs supporters are doing.
Which is trying to get Wenger to stay, because they, like us, know he is not a threat to their clubs.

That is all you need to know.

Neville males me laugh when he says bollocks like that.

At United they came for Moyes with the pitchforks after just one season, if they were made to endure the latter half of Wenger’s reign they would probably have murdered him by now.

Let Jose only challenge for the top four and FA cup for even 3 years and he’d be calling for his head.
