Bro watch these matches they’re identical to promos. Just full of high spots, theatrical jumps and rolls. It’s literally like watching a choreographed circus act.

The best wrestlers took their time with everything they did. They gave the crowd a chance to enjoy and digest everything that’s taking place. These freaks are just spot monkeys.

It’s good Tony Khan doesn’t appear on the shows any more lol

It actually didn’t, it’s AEW Dark.

Another debut

Feels like a backward step for O’Reilley, back to being Adam Cole’s sidekick. At least for now.

Just as long as the doesn’t end up another lackey for the young bucks

Don’t think he minds. He wasn’t gonna do anything of note in WWE. Perhaps he could have gone the independent route but he’s signed for perhaps the safest job in pro wrestling today, for good money, and he’s joining his friends where he has more freedom to do what he wants.
That’s pretty good considering there were rumours of him even retiring.

With The Briscoes also joining, Malakai teaming up with Brody, AEW’s tag division is arguably the best tag division we’ve seen ever.

That’s a big claim

Sure but it’s not an unpopular opinion. Even Cornette who knows his tag team wrestling has said the same.
Hopefully the Cucamonga Kids don’t ruin it for us.

Definitely.

The matches they have are incredible.

Did you get spoiled btw?

Speaking of corny, he’s caused quite the stir with this tweet

Nope but you make a good point about spoilers. That pic shouldn’t have been displayed in the first place.

Yeo, that’s Corny.

Those late 90’s attitude era crowds were rowdy

Late 80s NWA / WCW features some of the greatest tag teams ever.

The WWF had some super teams in late 80’s/90’s also.

Would any current aew teams even rank in the best 10-20 of all time?

Yeah. Tag wrestling had its peak of importance in the 80s and early 90s. But division stopped being so important by the mid 90s with both companies scaling back on their tag divisions. I think early 00s had a mini golden era with Hardys, Dudleys, Edge and Christian.

Yes, but did they do cartwheels for no reason in the middle of matches? Can’t say they were the greatest ever if not.

TNA had some decent teams in the early years. Beer Money instantly springs to mind.
