@Annie85x the Mone v Shida match was strangely engrossing. Became a right grappling battle. Bit of a hidden gem amongst that PPV.

Iā€™ve been really hit and miss with Mercedes so far, thankfully it was so much better than the Britt match lol.

I thought Stat/Willow was super fun and whilst probably not for everyone it filled the death spot after Ospreay/PAC so well. Think anything else after that match would have died a death, but they nailed it imo.

Itā€™s also about the precedent it sets. If AEW, supposedly a major promotion is green lighting spots like this then it encourages smaller promotions looking for a way to stand out to give unprotected head shots the ok too.

I found the plastic bag on Danielson more shocking personally.
You can gimmick a chair into oblivion (granted, you shouldnā€™t) but the plastic bag thing I really didnā€™t like.

Theyā€™re trying to hard to be ECW, thatā€™s their problem. Thereā€™s a reason no-one ever really gave ECW TV rights and itā€™s because of the nature of the shit they did. Makes you wonder why AEW canā€™t or are struggling to get TV rights

Itā€™s not the first time Danielson has pushed the envelope in a distasteful way. As I said at the time, his faking a seizure was really quite abhorrent and though I get some people wonā€™t care itā€™s a real blot on his copy book for me.

The TV rights/streaming thing sounds like its about to be announced imminently and hasnā€™t been a problem securing the deal. It just seems to be taking them an age to announce it.

I definitely agree, heā€™s done a few fake injury spots and I hate it.

He broke his arm against Okada and faked a seizure to get help, surely has to be a better way to get the refs attention lol

Damnit, sorry double post

Even JR sounded genuinely disgusted. Havenā€™t heard a reaction like that from JR in years.

Mox character has become strangely intriguing. Calling out Darby Allin, Marina Shafir for muscle and now splitting the BCC right down the middle.

I do wonder if heā€™s the next in line for a title shot.

Yeah JR sold it so well. Itā€™s good having him on hand to call these main events, he adds a certain gravitas to things.

Mox was my thought to ā€œretireā€ Danielson tbh, we still need another Kenny/Bryan match but at this stage with Kennys recovery and Danielson running down the clock I imagine that wonā€™t be for the title and maybe one of Danielsons very last matches next year.

BCC definitely feels like itā€™s outstayed itā€™s welcome a bit in recent times too so definitely intrigued to see where it all goes.

Didnā€™t even know Bryan Danielson is the current AEW champion.

Took them three years. Too late.

Sucks to see them go but I hope they smash it over there. Great team. Apparently MCMG have finally officially signed too.

WWE never fail to book Luchas that arenā€™t Rey Mysterio terribly. Time for Papa H to change that apparently.

I never watch Raw in its entirety. 3 hours (or 2 and a quarter without ads) is just too much for weekly TV. I know it is temporarily going back to 2 hours but it will surely be 3 again in 2025.

With both shows 3 hours I probably wonā€™t watch a full weekly TV show again.

Wtf is this ???

An embarrassment.

Thankfully Ospreay has massively toned down a lot of that stuff these days since bulking up and joining the heavyweights. Even for me that match was way too much haha

Ricochet got massively found out in WWE where you need more than just gymnastics skill to make it.

Yeah for sure. Heā€™s cut a promo or two in AEW so far but you can tell talking really isnā€™t his thing lol.
Still an incredible athlete but yeah.

Ospreay has improved exponentially in that department the past few years and probably gone that extra mile to adapt more to what modern wrestling needs.
