Sounds like it was great show. Good for AEW. They needed this.
They seem to have booked more shows next year overseas too.

Yeah we’re getting Forbidden Door in London, an event in Australia and there’s the joint event at the Tokyo Dome on January too. It won’t stop the anti-AEW doomers, but things are looking good. With how awful ticket sales are in the states at times it would definitely fare them well to do more overseas shows.

That main event was fantastic in person, looking forward to rewatching tomorrow.

They’ve got to have taken notice of how successful WWE have been moving some of their bigger shows abroad. Plus their own experience with the reaction at Wembley last year.

It seems an uncharacteristically professional move by AEW to have planned an expansion of their international offer in a structured and gradual way :grinning:

Glad the show was good @Annie85x. Another big European show coming up this weekend as well. Good times for fans.

Sycho Sid has passed away :frowning:

Gutted, just watched his 1997 WWF run and the guy was insanely over. Got a bigger pop than Shawn Michaels at one point.

RIP Sid. THE MASTER AND RULER OF THE WORLD.

Noooookk

I’m sure there was a time in my life when I wasn’t watching Gunther Vs Orton but I struggle to remember when that was.

Haven’t watched it yet but apparently the Punk match was a banger? How was the show overall?
