I was shocked to see FTR win Tag Team of the Year though considering how much Dave and his listeners love The Young Bucks.

I think FTR are gonna win the Battle Royale today and Punk is returning at Revolution.
I don’t think they’ll go to CMFTR v The Elite straight away.
Reckon Punk will finish the story with MJF or potentially do something with Bryan first. FTR will get their run with the tag titles too.
I think doing CMFTR v The Elite will depend on how they coexist together.

They’re teasing it online. Plus, a lot of backtracking has been made from people who said he’ll never come back(Meltzer, Jericho, etc.).

Yeah, they do have some big matches left in the tank but the issue is that most of them involve Punk.
Punk v Bryan
Punk v MJF
Punk v Eddie
Punk v Omega
Punk v Ospreay
CMFTR v The Elite
Really need to capitalize on those matches and build on other future feuds that don’t involve him.
Lots of contracts will be up in the coming months from both sides. I think both sides could use clearing out the decks and selectively bring new faces in. Ultimately though, I think both sides have to let go more than they bring. Good opportunity for a third brand to sweep in and do something with the talent that becomes available.

I’d probably swap this for Punk v Jericho.
This did their feud well in WWE. However, it’s not essential to repeat it. It’s just if they have time.
Punk v Eddie has been done. Eddie doesn’t deserve another chance.
Their first feud was great and there was definitely more to come from it. I do think if both Eddie and Punk stayed out of trouble last year we would’ve seen it.
Punk v Jericho I just can’t see. Both big egos, both won’t accept putting one another over, especially after what Jericho fed the media after Brawl Out.
