Very acceptable show all round really, I quite liked the neon nonsense to be honest.
The Rumbles had predictable winners but were fun enough. I like that they’re not depending on nostalgia for either rumble anymore, each one only had one throwback entrant. Reigns/Owens definitely the highlight though, they built that up perfectly the crescendo.
Cody looks like he’s on the path to being a top guy, seems like a completely different guy now. AEW really wasted him. Good to see him emerging from that drain on his career.
I guess he and the Bucks are back on good terms again. Another example of why you should never become business partners with your friends and relatives. That’s a recipe for disaster.
Yep there’s no way now after that pop Zayn got last night they’re doing Usos vs KO and Sami. Sami got one the biggest pops for a face turn I’ve ever seen, he needs to be rewarded
I just don’t think he has anywhere to go as world champion. This surge of popularity I don’t think would last once this storyline with the bloodline is done.
Btw, any thoughts on Rollins being set up to face Logan Paul at Wrestlemania?
Part of me wonders how Rollins feels being slowly morphing into a higher profile Miz/Ziggler. He’s pretty much the man for the job, any job, it looks like the days he was the focal point are gone.
I think Rollins can really use this match to his benefit, like him or not Logan Paul is pretty famous, mixing it up with him brings a new spotlight on you. However, I do wonder if that’s how he sees it. I think he’s the type of guy that won’t settle for just that.
You would think the end goal for him is to take Roman’s spot.
I’m probably on the side of @RockyMaivia on this. Not the best PPV, but the end was engrossing and better than the shite WWE have been serving up in PPVs.
The men’s RR wasn’t too bad. The Brock and Bobby Lashley bits were good as was the Paul/Richochet spot (albeit meaningless in a RR)
