Been a great World Cup nonetheless. Even if they were beaten by the better side, the effort from England can’t be faulted.

A lame final performance, Spain (for all their dark arts) looked a class above. We missed Mead and Williamson today, great penalty save from Earps though and Greenwood was utter class as usual.
That second World Cup win from our international teams does at least seem closer than ever.
