Back to back finals for England.
What’s the general consensus? Is it, as you all would say, coming home?
I feel like England have way too much firepower even if they manage to let one or even two in.

Couldn’t get away from work to watch but kept checking the scoreline. Sent them Matilda’s packing when they thought they could win it 
Only shame is no Swedish showdown in the final.
Spain will be tough, wouldn’t bank on anything there. Pure 50/50 in the final I reckon.

Will be jumping on the bandwagon on Sunday.
You would have got very good odds on a Spain England final at the start of the tournament I’d imagine.
Hope they do it now, the team is super talented and deserve success. Will sting for Leah and Beth though

Also, Spain getting to finals despite all the team basically wanting their coach to be fired. A few of the players refused the call up as a result.

What’s the deal with their coach?
15 of the Spanish team back in September emailed the letter below to their federation. Basically stating that if the coach continued then they didn’t want to be selected. I’m not 100% clued up on the all details
I hereby inform you that due to the latest events that have occurred in the Spanish team and the situation generated, facts of which you are aware, are significantly affecting my emotional state and therefore my health.
Due to all this, I currently do not see myself in a position to be a selectable player for our national team and for this reason I request not to be called up until this situation is reversed.
My commitment to the team in the past, present and future was, is and will be absolute. And I am the first to want to achieve the maximum number of sporting successes for our team.
I remain at your entire disposal for whatever you consider appropriate, always with the aim of seeking the best for our national team.
Unlike a lot of football’s controversies that seem to disappear with time, I get the feeling the full story will come out after the final.
That player looked repulsed by his presence which says a lot.
All I found was something about the team management being detrimental to their mental health.
And now those 15 players will likely never play for their country again.
