Wolves vs Arsenal (PL) 2-2

Yeah I agree, “Havertz is a possibility for the weekend” → He might be back when we play Mansfield.

Wasn’t he supposed to be out for a month?

Do remember Arteta saying he was a ‘possibility’ back in November, when he actually returned in January

He did have setback to be fair, which we know of because their NT snitched.

I’ll take a wild guess that Cala, White and Odegaard should he good to go for Spurs.
Reckon Havertz is doing well in his recovery and Arteta is playing some mind games too.
Doubt he’s in the squad but promising if he is indeed recovering well.

Yeah yeah. Let me know when they survive the pre-match warm-up.

This is a major opportunity to apply pressure on City and ensure we keep them at arm’s length.

It’s great that White and Calafiori are okay, and Odegaard / Kai might be ready on the weekend. Means only Merino injured. We need absolutely everybody available.

There will be rotation given the NLD on Sunday. Will be interesting to see who starts tomorrow. I would like to see Norgaard start again. Keeping Zubi fresh is critical.

We have more players getting injured warming up than when we used to play teams like Bolton and Stoke or players like Keane, Terry, Vidic, Staam, etc.

Excellent, we’re going to see White and Calafiori’s thighs tomorrow night.

Which is er, good for fans who like that sort of thing.

Raya
White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori
Zubimendi, Rice, Saka
Madueke, Gyokeres, Trossard

I’d pick that team but I imagine it’ll be Timber and Hincapie in defence and think Eze will get the start too with Noni dropping to the bench and Saka back at RW

Heard on the Arsecast City’s game in hand won’t be played until mid-April. Big game tomorrow.

All games from now on are “must win”. Wolves away shouldn’t be a problem given where they sit in the table and their current form, but nothing comes easy for Arsenal so I expect this to be a very tough game.

For once, can we make a fast start and score some goals in the first half. If we go into the second half with the scores level, the pressure will start to mount on us and we certainly don’t want that.

As for the starting 11, I think Eze will start this one. I hope that Wigan performance does something for him. It’s high time some of our star players start playing like we expect them to. Eze & Saka in particular need to do a heck of a lot more. Let’s hope they do, starting from this game.

COYG!!

Not expecting a nice game.

A 6-0 would be really nice though.

Wolves have 1 win at home this season this is a game we should quite comfortably win

Just get us in a position to take off key players in the 2nd half, please.

Still gonna be a hate watch like every league game :joy:

I think we’ll win by 1-2 goals, and it will be less dominant than people would like. Not unlike the home game against them.

Yeah this is their CL final - they’ll be raising their game against us like relegation teams love to do.

We should but I just can’t see us do it, not with the way our attack has looked. Just not convinced.

I’m expecting a nervy and frustrating 2-1 win after labouring for most of the game and getting a lateish winner :trossard2:
