Auba went off for Lacazette. And we don’t know how long Auba can manage at the moment. Maybe he isn’t 100% after malaria. Same for Tierney, not fully fit. We had to make the subs.

That’s Arteta’s fault for not having another goal scorer on the bench. Could have had Flo Balogun there for emergencies. Could have spent the last few weeks testing Azeez or another youth player for that bench spot. Willian is never the answer. Well unless the question is “Who was the washed up scrub Kia laundered into Arsenal in summer 2020?”

Given how devoid the team looked of energy, I was glad to at least someone making some effort out there.
But, the Willian sub was useless as has been the case save a random game or two.

How do we stop this expensive burden from dragging us down next season? Maybe we can convince a team in China to take him on loan if we cover 80% of his wages or something.
He’s a liability in that he offers nothing and loses possession constantly. Best to just send him elsewhere until his contract is over.
Give him the Ozil treatment, exile him from first team activity, and force him to leave.
