Wilfried Zaha

more like cow poo

I once played a game in a field and dived into a cow pat to save a goal.

What about Lozano? Rumoured to be heading to Napoli but 50m euros was deemed too high. Young enough to improve and good enough to make a difference. Could at the very least match Zaha’s goal tally.

sounds like a messy save

Seems our scouting department is showing some pretty myopic thinking with regard to wide options.

Unfortunately doubt Lozano would’ve been given much more than a passing glance.

They can only identify talent, it’s really up to the manager primarily to decide what profile he likes.

Our scouts got alot of shit under Wenger because he didn’t give a fuck about their recommendations.

True that, more so down to Emery and the cabal.

Don’t trust Emery tbh but Tierney and Saliba seem good choices in those positions, perhaps the Zaha transfer failing to materialise will be a blessing in disguise.

Really Zaha’s fault for signing two consecutive 5 year deals in this current market to cover his prime .

Poorly advised imo, Would have had palace by the balls on his original deal

It is an improved bid…£40,000,000.01 :rofl::rofl:

Yeah, his agent has absolutely no game.

Will be difficult for him to get the move considering AWB went for up to £50mil. Clubs arent looking to splash so much on him unless he truly puts up the big boy numbers, he’s stuck unless he becomes truly toxic and even then Palace won’t be mugged off.

We should be looking elsewhere.

Palaca are a weird lot. They’ve got nothing to work with atm. Just wasting Zaha’s peak to stay in the Prem. Get 60m out of him and reinvest you mugs.

I think it’s the English clubs in general, matey. It’s incredibly frustrating as an Arsenal fan, you’re right

He’s got his money. It’s not Palace fault they thought they could orchestrate a move whenever they wanted without much hassle.

He was already on around 100K a week, a crica 30K increase and making a move elsewhere incredibly difficult isn’t really worth it is it?

No one’s hopping off the Fraser train while I’m driving.

Leaving Bournemouth with Fraser on board then the Euro Tunnel over to Ajax to get Ziyech, then back to The Emirates with the LW and RW we’ve been waiting for and all for the price of a Zaha.

As much as I want Zaha, there is no way this club is going to spend the sort of money Crystal Palace want for one player.

We might as well blow 80m on two decent wingers, to go with Tierney, and then Emery has all the wide players he needs.

That is like 1 - 1,5 million a year more? (Premier League) Footballers are rich, but they are not that rich that 1 - 1,5 million a year isn’t a significant difference. We also don’t know what kind of signing bonus and other financial incentives were involved. A move isn’t difficult. Zaha just isn’t the type of player clubs are going to break their backs for.

Palace are basically pricing Zaha out of a move by giving him over inflated valuations, though you can’t really blame them as he’s so valuable to them. Zaha shouldn’t have signed such a long term contract if he thought he might want to leave.

Really not missing out on much here. Don’t be paying stupid money for a limited talent like this.
Inflating his price is not making him a better player or bigger missed opportunity.

Up the bid but don’t want us to be paying silly money…

Pepe is still available. Liverpool were heavily linked and haven’t bid for the player yet. If there is no movement and Palace stay firm on Zaha we should move for Pepe and return for Zaha another window.

Everton rumoured to be interested too at around £60m
