What was the last film you watched?

I’ve got Jurassic Park: Dominion at an Everyman cinema tomorrow, love this series of films so much and can’t wait!

I hope one of them gets Dr Wu this time. It’s all his fault.

Little bit pi**ed because this one starting this week reduces Top Gun IMAX showings to earlier in the day, but anyway I decided to skip it on IMAX, already seen it on RPX which is similar, and will watch it on 4DX this weekend to see how that is for the Super Hornet action. Jurassic - cool, will watch it but maybe next week when the showings probably will be quieter.

Good, no one cares really, box office is massive and whatever backwater you are in is irrelevant.

(wish I didn’t have such an attachment to Arsenal, in truth I am incompatible with most football fans)

I’m sure he’s American living in America lol

Most be in a socialist dump then. I don’t care. Don’t have time for anti-American nonsense. Similar situation to 1970s when we had idiots who sided with the Soviet Union. Now they will side more with ChiComs than America. In the 1980s Reagan was winning the Cold War and yet the receptions he got in Britain and much of the rest of Europe were a total disgrace.

Are you an Ameri-can or an Ameri-can’t?

Well I left Europe to be a can-doer and to escape general over-bureaucracy and laziness. If you want to work hard and be the best you can be in your specialty, with the resources to back you, and a culture that supports imagination and ambition that’s what you do. If your priorities are elsewhere, fine, stay in Europe, but people can tag on America as much as they want, Europe hardly produces anything of value anymore and is already third world.

I got told by an Indian the other day that England and Canada were shit.

I told her to get tae fuck.

It’s fine, generally tired of the socialist-commie nonsense in this forum, in truth it isn’t much different across most football forums I guess, probably will quit altogether soon, just tired of the idiotic ignorant nonsense I can’t avoid in here everyday. Would rather this was a pure football forum, but there we are.

Arsenal haven’t played pure football since 2008 :pensive:

Well tbh it can if you choose to mute threads that arent about football.

Another thread for the mute list. Don’t forget to tag me to let me know.

Nah, it’s ok, the political stuff is kind of a symptom of wider stuff related to football fans millennials and onwards, not the ones who were following football and Arsenal in the George Graham era and before. There’s collectivist reactionary bandwagon stuff based on the last 3-4 matches where it can go from “we’re lucky to have Arteta” to “Arteta is a fraud”, and there isn’t much room for those who try to have stable steady consistent views that are more long term data driven (scientific in a way). Does my head in. As I said, I’m not compatible with much of football fan culture and not football forums. I’m out, but best to all here, and for Arsenal of course.

Welcome to the Punch

Bit of a random film but the cast on paper got me interested. Mark Strong was way too good, carried it from very average to decent purely from screen presence and blue steel perfection
