Finally finished Breaking Bad - 10/10.
I think the series peaks in Series 4, but the last Series ties up everything very successfully - something very few series manage to do.

They ruined that by making a pointless film
Is that El Camino? I think that’s on Netflix too - not worth watching then?
Definitely not worth it.
Three episodes into this and it’s really, really good.
Yeah I have really enjoyed this show up 2 now. It’s become my weekly must watch along side Dexter resurrection
It’s good, but I do wish they would spend more time examining the characteristics of the aliens themselves.
A good example is that plant thing. They introduced it, and then never really spoke about it.
Supposed they lose some mystery if they showed all the characteristics off the xenos.
Remind me off the planet thing?
Ah yes after episode 5 I was wondering how it got to where it seen in episode 1. But yeah it’s been total forgot about since. But seeing some off the other xenos do stuff been really interesting and not just the Alien we know causing havoc.
Fare dodgers at war with the law is some top tier channel 5 content
Traitors Ireland is 6 episodes in. Great TV.
Task, new HBO crime drama. Mark Ruffalo leads a task force trying to bring down a team of armed robbers (one of whom is the actor who plays Ben in Ozark) who are targeting a biker gang’s stash houses.
Only three episodes out so far and it’s really good.
My job has always been in entertainment journalism, but my new job is even worse, I literally have to watch stuff before it has been filmed to not get it spoiled!
I know you are talking about Irish Traitors, but for example, it just reminds me that I know what exactly happens in every episode of Celeb Traitors. I’ll still watch it, but won’t be as fun.
And I’m still bitter about having Slow Horses ruined. My job is rubbish!
Yeah would hate that tbh.
Maybe watching Irish tv is the way to go ![]()
Blood diamond. For the second time.
Seen it a decade or so back, and watching again as it’s on TV. Such a good movie.
Thanksgiving - 1/10
I don’t know why I watched it. I was depressed. The film didn’t help my mood. As a fan of slasher/horror I can honestly say that this has no entertainment value whatsoever. Worse still, it is left open for a sequel! Shock I know, but given the lame ending, they were really taking the piss by the end.
The Northman - 7/10
My first Robert Eggers film, and as I understand it, his most run of the mill film to date. That said, I thought it was pretty good. Beautifully shot and good all round performances. I wanted more, so I was a bit disappointed at the end, but compared to most new films, this was very decent.
Speaking to my other half about favourite films, and it dawned on me that I had never actually seen any of the Godfather films.
I thought I had, but when he explained the storyline it was clear that I was getting films mixed up ![]()
Monster: The Ed Gein Story - Only released on Friday on Netflix and I’m already 4 Episodes in…I’m not sure it is as good as Dahmer, but it’s been pretty solid so far and would recommend.
I watched the OG The Fast and the Furious. I’m a car nut so this being released back in the day was car nirvana.
It’s cringey as fuck now but love how simple things were back then. Not often you get a movie as simple as this that impacts an entire sub culture or community of people the way this did.
